YOU CAN LEAD A MORE SATISFYING AND HAPPY LIFE BY MAKING SOME CHANGES THROUGH MY EXPERIENCES
Most people recommended this topic for me to write about, as everyone desires a smooth and peaceful life.
Indeed, true peace can only be found in the remembrance of Allah. Our life is not truly ours—it’s a trust from Allah, and one day, we must return it to Him. Whatever we do in this world, we will be held accountable before Allah. If you want your life to follow the straight path (Sirat al-Mustaqeem), you must give up sins that are forbidden in the sight of Allah.
Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala has created mankind to test them through various trials. Pain and sorrow are part of life, but we must carry on with patience. Without patience, Jannah (Paradise) cannot be attained. Allah wants to see who among us has the most fear of Him in their hearts. In every stage of life, you will be tested. The one who fears Allah most sincerely will be among those granted Jannah.
People today are struggling in different ways—some are hurt by relationships, some are suffering financial hardship, some have lost loved ones, some are surviving with very little food, some are unhappy in their marriages, and others are facing illnesses. Perfection does not exist in this world. Even princes, princesses, governors, and presidents have struggles and emptiness in their lives.
Everything happens by the will and permission of Allah. Accepting destiny is part of our faith, whether it seems favorable or not. You can improve both your worldly life and your Hereafter through dua (supplication). If you have strong faith in Allah, you can receive what you desire in both worlds. However, not every dua we make is what’s best for us. Allah knows what we truly need. The duas that are not granted in this life may be saved for the Hereafter, where Allah will reward us for making them sincerely.
I want to share some practical solutions to help you accept your destiny—these are based on my own experiences, and I believe they can positively impact your life, especially if you’re striving to be obedient to Allah.
Daily Muhasabah (self-accountability): Use the planner I mentioned in my other blog post. It is designed to help purify your soul and help you avoid sins.
The Two-Jar Practice: Take two empty jars at home.
Use the first jar for your duas—write your worldly and spiritual needs on small notes and place them inside.
Use the second jar for your blessings—each day, write down something Allah has blessed you with and add it to the jar.
I personally decorated my jars with gift paper, and the lids are made with fancy cloth. You can decorate them your own way. This simple act of writing and reflecting daily will strengthen your connection with Allah. You will begin to see how many blessings surround you, and your tawakkul (reliance on Allah) will increase significantly.
Whatever you ask for, trust Allah deeply and believe that He will respond in the best way.
Your relation with Allah will become stronger and you would be closer to Allah. Your Tawakkul on Allah will boost in the higher level. Whatever you pray, you should rely upon Allah strongly and believe it would be accepted.
